Usher is a great talent but at least a third of these songs are remakes. Bobby Brown did Roni (written by Baby Face in 1988; this is a lackadasical version). Tender Love, Every Little Step, Don't be cruel, etc... are all remakes. If you search some of these songs on the internet, Usher even gets credit for them. It's almost like he did this CD to make money only. He seems to be going through the motions on this CD and doesn't have that great energy he usually shows. It's almost as disappointing as having 3-4 versions of one song (Part 1, Part 2, etc...) and calling each part a song (he does this now). I've seen him live and this CD sucks compared to what he can do. Very disappointing. It was released in 1999 when people forget he wasn't exactly burning up the charts all of the time; which may attribute to the remakes and his lack of energy.
